Waterforde is located 2.1 miles south of the Garden City Pier in Georgetown County. This four-story complex offers units overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and oceanside pool. Pack your beach bags and enjoy the sandy beaches and laid-back atmosphere this location provides. Go for a swim in the outdoor pool, which is open Easter to November 1 or take a short walk down to the beach and relax. Waterforde’s amenities include a gated parking lot, outdoor grilling area, elevator, and complimentary Wi-Fi so you can stay connected. Two parking permits are issued per unit. Motorcycles are allowed. Sorry, recreational vehicles, trailers, golf carts, and pets are not permitted. **Electric vehicles are strictly prohibited from parking underneath the building and are to be parked exclusively in the parking area adjacent to the fence. Vehicle charging is also prohibited. Non-compliance will result in the vehicle being towed at the owner's expense.
Spent a month here as snowbirds from PA. The unit is very clean, well cared for, and in a perfect location. The view is beautiful but would be a tad better if you were on an upper floor. We're in our late 60's and the elevator makes it nice when carrying a load. Things are updated enough, but still a few projects needed. I believe in time it'll get done, but nothing that would stop me from staying here again. Outside stairwell is being reconstucted for what appears to be a structural issue. It's an eyesore for sure but it has to be done. We were unaware of this and therefore a bit taken back when we arrived. Almost a problem with us, until we sew the unit inside, then we were happy. Don't know the bldg plans or when it will be done but I think it should be disclosed to the rental tenants, upfront. That's mandatory where we come from. Other than that it's a wonderful place and we'd like to stay again someday!! Btw, kitchen has everything you need.
