WONDERFUL STAY

My stay at Palmetto Dunes 101 was spectacular, it is a cute boutique, oceanfront condo! From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this place had undergone recent updates and renovations. The attention to detail in the decor was remarkable, and the beach-themed decorations added a delightful coastal ambiance throughout the unit. The condo's layout was great for families or groups of friends. With four bedrooms, including one with four bunk beds, it was an ideal setup for accommodating kids, providing them with a fun space of their own.The open-concept kitchen and living room were great for us (a little snug with the entire family) however we spend most of our time either lounging at the pool or enjoying the beautiful beach. The highlight, of course, was the oceanfront balcony. The stunning views and the sound of the crashing waves made every moment spent on that balcony a memory to cherish. The location of Palmetto Dunes 101 couldn't be better. It's incredibly convenient, with just a short walk to seven different restaurants. Whether you're in the mood for seafood, Mexican, barbecue, burgers, or pizza, you have plenty of options. The bars with live music every night added an extra layer of entertainment and a vibrant atmosphere to the area. One thing to note is that Palmetto Dunes is a smaller complex with only six units, which adds to its charm and exclusivity. However, it's worth mentioning that there's no elevator, so be prepared for a few stairs. We loved this unit being on the first floor for mobility purposes! This condo offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and coastal beauty. My family and I had an unforgettable experience, and we're already planning to return next year. If you're looking for a beachfront getaway on a family friendly beach that combines stunning views, great amenities, and a convenient location, this condo is the place to be. Don't miss out on making wonderful memories here!

Nice and Cozy

We only had three people traveling this year so we chose a condo rather than a house. This is a cozy place for three but would be cramped with more than four people. The hallways are narrow so you have to squeeze past one another and there are only two bathrooms (one in the master bedroom so inconvenient if someone is sleeping). One bedroom has only bunk beds, which are not very comfortable for an adult. The other beds were comfortable and the kitchen is nice and roomy with a large fridge and plenty of plates, cups, spoons, etc. Watch the dishwasher however -- it doesn't always clean properly and may leave specks on the dishes which then need a re-wash. Washer and dryer are stacked and easy to use. There are two sofas and as noted above, they would be cramped with more than three to four adults. The dining table has only two chairs--the other two places are taken by padded benches, which must be tucked beneath the table in order to get past. It's a squeeze if anyone is sitting on a bench. One additional inconvenience is that the AC vents tend to drip if it's very hot or humid. The TV is a nice size and wall-mounted so it's out of the way. The condo is nicely decorated with pastel colors and lots of "beauty" artwork and decor. The beach is just past the pool and the dunes, so there is only a short walk. However, we were told it's not a good beach to find shells on and this seemed to be true since we hardly found any all week. The pool goes up to 5 feet at the deep end so no diving allowed. It seemed clean and well-maintained. The condos have two parking spots per unit but one of them is beneath the house and is a rather tight fit if you have a larger car. I'm not certain how strict they are about where you park but there are numbers on each parking spot. You are close to lots of entertainment venues, including a water park at the end of 10th Avenue and Myrtle Beach only 15-20 minutes away. All in all, we had a nice visit and were satisfied with the condo. I think if you have more than three people, the rest should be spouses or children. Otherwise you're going to have adults sleeping on bunk beds or the sofa. It would be a very crowded condo if you tried to squeeze the maximum number listed for this location into this small space. One suggestion for the owners: you could use a small coffee table so guests can sit on the sofas and play board games or work a puzzle together.
