Overall

'We stayed at Terry Ho June 2015. The house is in a great location with wonderful ocean views and within walking distance to the pier. However, the house is in the middle of updates. It has been recently painted outside, with the exception of the decks. A contractor came and told us he was going to paint and we would have to stay off the decks for at least 5 hours and then didn't come back because it rained. The sliding door in the upstairs bedroom overlooking the ocean couldn't be opened because it was damaged, so we couldn't use that deck at all. Someone loves the color pink at this house. There were dust bunnies all over the ceiling in the kitchen where the ac was blowing across the ceiling. The vacuum cleaner in the unit barely works and made it difficult to keep the carpet clean during our stay, which we ended up sweeping daily. The screens were off the screened porch. I am sure once the updates are completed the house will be a great place to stay. Until then you may face some minor inconveniences here. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms were exactly what we needed and four bathrooms are nice. The Dunes Realty people were great and we will continue to do business with them in the future, just....maybe not at Terry Ho. For the price it was just an okay stay.'

Overall

'This was the second year we have rented Terry Ho, and once again thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It is the perfect size and the perfect location. Easy walk to the pier for entertainment and ice cream! Has all the comforts of home and you cannot beat the views off the screened in deck of the ocean. This year we say huge manta rays, dolphins leaping and playing and for the first time, a giant sea turtle came up on the beach right out in front of the house....it was amazing. The only critiques I have of this house is it is in need of some minor TLC (replacing broken blinds; nailing down tacks between carpet and tile; good powerwashing and repainting of sundecks.) We really enjoyed our stay and plan on returning next summer.'
