My family of 14 (8 adults, 5 teens and 1 child) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at 99 Steps To The Beach for our family vacation. You think 99 steps is a long distance but it was just literally right across the street from the beach. The inside was beyond gorgeous and gave us plenty of room. The coffee bar was amazing since we all drink coffee. The most enjoyable part of the house was the outside pool and covered area. While the kids played in the pool, the adults lounged and napped on the couch in the shade under the ceiling fan and nice ocean breeze. The parking area under the house was large enough to park 4 vehicles, 2 golf carts and still have enough room to grill and play games. I recommend renting a golf cart to take advantage of all of the restaurants that are close by. A few favorites are Conch Café, River City Café and Benjamin's Bakery. The only downside is the trash truck only seems to run twice a week (on Wednesday and Friday) so when we got there on Saturday, the previous families trash stayed on the curb until Wednesday and there wasn't room for us to add to it. It seems like the solution would to put your trash out on Friday so it gets picked up and not left to linger for the other family arriving.
