Palmetto Dunes is located 2.1 miles north of the Garden City Pier in Surfside Beach. This three-story complex offers oceanfront units to take in all the sights and sounds of life at the beach. Enjoy watching the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean from the convenience of your private balcony. Go for a swim in the oceanside outdoor pool from Easter/April 1 to October 1. Take a short walk to the beach and look for souvenir seashells or relax and listen to the crashing waves. Palmetto Dunes is conveniently located to nearby restaurants, public parks, and shopping. Pack your bags and bring the entire family to have some fun! There is no elevator at Palmetto Dunes. Two parking permits are issued per unit. Motorcycles and trailers are allowed. Sorry, recreational vehicles, golf carts, and pets are not permitted.

'We stayed 8-17-13 to 8-24-13. The unit was spacious as we had 7 people staying the week total. The view was great although the chairs provided on the balcony were not the right height to see over the railing and there were only 2 of them. The unit was not very clean at all, dust covered fans and mold in shower. The pool was a good size for the 6 units sharing it and the beach was great. Not too crowded. I would consider this unit again if proper cleaning was done 1st.'

'Just got home from a great vacation. This unit was very clean with lots of room for the entire family. The pool was well used by everyone. Great access to the beach as well. It was super hot while we were there, but the AC was the best!! Loved the convenience of the washer/dryer. Also, the assigned parking was great! The only thing that could have made our trip more perfect would have been getting to stay and extra week!!!'

'This unit was great. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room. The unit was clean. The chairs on the balcony were not the best. (you couldn't see over the railing) Loved having the washer/dryer in unit. Pool was clean and great size. Window in master bedroom needs replaced (foggy between the glass) We will book this unit again. Rental company left a lot to be desired when we picked up the keys. They had everyone who rents from them converge at the same time. It was chaos.'
