Cottage on the Marsh ~ New for 2023, living room furniture and totally updated downstairs (floors, furniture, fixtures and more!). New for 2024, 65" TV in the upstairs living area. This non-smoking rental also includes a large parking lot that can fit up to 6 vehicles with plenty of room for a boat! After a day at the beach, head back to your home away from home to admire a gorgeous sunset view of the marsh. The cottage has two separate living areas to which guests will have full access. The downstairs suite features a living room, bathroom, king bed, kitchenette, and laundry. The upstairs includes two spacious bedrooms, each with their own full bath. The kitchen is perfect for whipping up dinner after a long day at the beach with a cooktop and convection toaster oven. Guests may also use the propane grill located on the back deck. Additionally, the back deck and sunroom are perfect for sipping on a cold beverage of choice while enjoying the sunset over the marsh. There's also a dock on the marsh where kids of all ages can fish and crab(no boats allowed). Upstairs has 4 head mini-split & downstairs has wall AC and heat. No inside stairway. Outside entrance only to downstairs. No smoking. Pets allowed.

Overall

The house is as shown in pictures. Very clean and well stocked.Only complaint is there is no oven (only a convection oven) and the dryer was out of service all week.Plenty of space for our family of six.

Great place to stay! Couldn’t believe how close it is to the ocean with a back deck view of the marsh. Daytime spent on the ocean and afternoon crabbing off the dock. Super clean, modern renovations, and open floor plan are a plus. Even has a downstairs apartment for additional space and privacy. Would highly recommend! The outdoor space is roomy for sitting in the rocking chairs and enjoying the sunset. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely amazing home away from home. Beautiful view from the deck and so peaceful. We enjoyed staying here because it has everything we need and so close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. We had a great weekend at the Cottage! Beautiful house with a beautiful view on the marsh. The dock was perfect for fishing and the beach was less than a 5 min walk away. Very cool decor and a great space to get away at the beach!

Enjoyed our long weekend at this nicely updated beach house on the marsh! It’s was great to be able to walk to the beach and the Surfside pier in just minutes. If you’re looking for a clean, well-equipped beach house with beautiful views and a fishing/crabbing dock, look no further! I would highly recommend this house.

A beautiful beach house equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed the quick walk to the beach and coming back to the house in the afternoons and fishing on the dock in the backyard. Beautiful sunsets and a perfect location minutes from some great restaurants. I highly recommend staying at The Cottage on the Marsh!
