Surfside Beach proudly proclaims itself "The Family Beach," and it's easy to see why. Unlike the high-rise-filled waterfronts of some resort areas, Surfside Beach has a more residential feel, and the town features family-friendly restaurants, parks, Wild Water and Wheels waterpark and the soon-to-be-rebuilt Surfside Pier.
