Southpointe Villas is located 2.4 miles south of the Garden City Pier in Georgetown County. This three story oceanfront complex offers units with either an ocean view or direct ocean front. Enjoy swimming in the oceanside pool, which is open Easter to November 1 or take a short walk to the beach to have some fun in the sand and surf. Complex amenities include coin-operated laundry onsite, a grilling area, and gated parking. There is no elevator at Southpointe Villas. Two parking permits are issued per condo unit. Motorcycles are allowed. Sorry, recreational vehicles, trailers, golf carts, and pets are not permitted.

Great view of the ocean

We love this area of the beach! It's far enough away my daughters, age 5 & 8, can run around and have fun but close enough to other areas that we can easily drive up to Garden City Pier or Myrtle Beach or walk all the way down the beach into Murrell's Inlet. This area is fairly quiet and pretty family oriented. While we stayed here we saw sea turtles, dolphins, and found a ton of shells. This unit is nice; for us the living room furnishings were comfortable and felt homey. The beds were also comfy and we were glad to have the two twin beds for the girls instead of bunk bed. It is not a luxury suite, but I did not expect that based on the photos; it is a nice unit right on the beach at an affordable price. I will say the whole place could use a fresh coat of paint and a good scrubbing but it was generally clean. The windows, although providing a great view, are cloudy and need to be replaced. But the view from the balcony is AWESOME and the beach is fantastic and just a handful of steps away from the condo. The building does not have an elevator but does have coin laundry in the pool house. We will definitely stay at this condo again.

The property is an excellent location to the beach! It was quiet at night and has enough accommodations for up to 6 people. The property has a nice kitchen, sitting area, and two nice size bedrooms. My only complaint is that the furniture and fixtures on the wall are all outdated! It needs a furniture re-boot. We would book again!
