Your family will love the open living/kitchen/dining and the ease in gathering for creating lasting vacation memories. Outside features include beautifully landscaped grounds and large oceanfront swimming pool. Sorry, no smoking or pets allowed.

Sea Cloisters I is located 3 miles north of the Garden City Pier in Surfside Beach. This three-story oceanfront complex offers ocean view or direct ocean front units. Go for a swim from Easter/April 1 to October 1 in the outdoor oceanfront pool. Take a short walk down to the beach and enjoy some fun in the sun, sand, and surf. There is no elevator at Sea Cloisters I. Two parking permits are issued per unit. Sorry, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, trailers, boats, golf carts, and pets are not allowed.

'A nice little gem - unit 304A<br />
<br />
If you are looking for granite counter tops high end appliances furniture and fixtures, this is not it. If you are looking for a well maintained and furnished vacation spot, steps from the ocean, and an amazing ocean view, you will not be disappointed.<br />
<br />
The entire complex appears well maintained, and at least during our visit was extremely quiet. There was plenty of parking, and the location is great. Easy access to Rt. 17 with a traffic light down 6th. Easy Walking distance to several restaurants and the surfside pier. I recommend the breakfast at the Surf Diner, and burgers at River City Grill.<br />
<br />
Each unit is individually owned, furnished and decorated. Unit 304A shows some age in the kitchen, but is clean and functional. The unit appears to have been painted recently, and one of the bathrooms appears to have been recently renovated. The owners are obviously interested in keeping this unit nice, and making improvements, apparently in a phased approach. <br />
<br />
The bed in the master was very comfortable, and the view was awesome. We did not use the second bedroom with twin beds, but they seemed comfortable as well. You may want to bring some of your own pillows if you require more than one standard pillow to sleep comfortably as we do. There is no view from the twin bedroom, and in my opinion, need darker drapes in that room to block the outside \"hallway\" lighting at nite. <br />
<br />
Private balcony. Rarely heard our neighbors, but occasionally smelled cigarette smoke.<br />
<br />
WiFi was good speed and adequate range for the unit and balcony. Did not reach the beach.<br />
<br />
The owner arranged for 2 beach chairs and an umbrella each day, identified with your unit name on them. This is a wonderful gesture, but the lifeguard sets these up for you in the most congested area directly in front of the complex access. If you like to be cheek to cheek with other guests, this is great, but since we had our own chairs anyway, we chose to setup in a less congested area.<br />
<br />
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend this unit to couples, or families with a few children.<br />
<br />
The following were non issues to us, but may make a difference to you:<br />
<br />
TV in living area, and master bedroom are flat panel, and are connected to cable, but are not run through a box, so not HD. I brought my Roku box, and connected to the WiFi for movies in the evening, which worked great.<br />
<br />
Minimal amount of cookware, so if you plan to prepare meals for your family, you may be challenged.<br />
<br />
Hot water was extremely hot. May be a safety issue for young children.<br />
<br />
No elevator and no ramps.<br />
